Our location system utilizing the Inovonics Echostream range of wireless equipment is now available for use with ECall Alarm Server Software.
ECall Alarm Server uses its own location engine to give the 3 nearest locations for a mobile pendant in alarm. The software computes the position of the alarm using unique signal patterns from the wireless device then calculates the closest distance to known locations. The users can then be notified of the location of the alarm.
Accuracy can be as good as room level in a single level or multi level building or up to villa level in an estate. The installer will fingerprint each location during system setup. ECall Alarm Server also uses installed wireless call points or other wireless devices to provide additional location information.
ECall Alarm Server’s location system is ideal for use inside, outside and in wide areas and will assist staff locating the person in distress. Location services can give staff and residents freedom to use their wireless pendants anywhere within the facility or grounds. The system is fully supervised, should a device go missing or require a battery replacement ECall will notify the relevant staff.
